Whether it’s a lemonade stand or a lawn mowing service, children love participating in commerce! The Children’s Entrepreneur Market encourages kids to flex their entrepreneurial muscles by providing a safe environment where budding business owners can practice selling within a marketplace run entirely by kids. Children aged 5-17 can participate and gain real-world experience in creating goods, packaging them for sale, attracting customers, and handling money.

With all the fun you’re going to be having at the fair, you’re bound to work up an appetite! Check back for a list of participating food vendors.

Indoor vendor applications for the 2026 Arlington County Fair will be reviewed on a rolling basis through a three-round acceptance process. This new system allows vendors to receive decisions earlier while helping the Fair maintain a balanced mix of vendors.

Applications open March 5, 2026 and will be considered in the following rounds:

• Round 1: Applications submitted March 5–31
  • Acceptance notifications sent April 8
  • Payment deadline April 30
• Round 2: Applications submitted April 1–30
  • Acceptance notifications sent May 8
  • Payment deadline May 31
• Round 3 (Final Round): Applications submitted May 1–June 20
  • Acceptance notifications sent June 25
  • Payment deadline July 5

Applications are reviewed as they are received, but approvals depend on available space and category balance. Vendors are encouraged to apply early, as some categories may fill quickly. The Night Market is a dedicated space for local artisans and makers to showcase and sell their handcrafted goods to thousands of fairgoers.
